Die IdeeThe idea
Wir alle sitzen im selben zerbrechlichen Boot mitten im Kosmos. Doch statt gemeinsam im Gleichtakt zu rudern, schlagen wir Löcher hinein und versuchen, einander über Bord zu werfen. We all sit in the same fragile boat, adrift in the cosmos. Yet instead of rowing together in time, we keep punching holes in it and trying to throw one another overboard.
Bei Faith in Humanity geht es nicht um Religion, nicht um Umwelt- oder Klimaaktivismus, sondern um die Grundlage menschlichen Seins: Menschlichkeit. Faith in Humanity is not about religion, and not about environmental or climate activism. It is about the very foundation of being human: humanity itself.

The ozone layer is recovering: according to a UN-backed expert panel (2022), it can return to 1980 levels by 2040 if current policies stay in place, and over Antarctica by around 2066.
Das ist kein Grund, sich zurückzulehnen: Noch immer leben rund 840 Millionen Menschen in extremer Armut, etwa 645 Millionen hungern, 2,1 Milliarden haben kein sicheres Trinkwasser und 4,6 Milliarden fehlt der Zugang zu wichtigen Gesundheitsleistungen. Es zeigt aber auch, dass Fortschritt möglich ist, wenn viele ihn wollen.This is no reason to rest on our laurels: around 840 million people still live in extreme poverty, about 645 million go hungry, 2.1 billion lack safe drinking water and 4.6 billion lack access to essential health services. But it shows that progress is possible when many people want it.
